Zach Braff / Garden State

Mark and I have been wanting to see Garden State, but I had no earthly idea it was written and directed by Zach Braff, its star.  We absolutely love Scrubs, so we were excited to see Braff in something else.  I’m now even more excited for him that he’s writing and directing at his age (he’s 3 years older than me).  I feel like I haven’t done anything with my life.

Not only that, but he has a blog.  A really good one.  And he’s funny as hell.  We share the same opinion on Olympic volleyball although I’ve yet to see any because they only show swimming, diving and gymnastics it seems on the HD channels.  I’m not watching the Olympics in anything other than HD - the quality just sucks too much.

As far as his blog goes… if only I could find an XML feed somewhere I’d be in heaven.  According to the trackback URL, it’s a typepad blog.  Interesting.

I saw the movie last week and I loved it. For some reason I can’t get into Scrubs, but I was quite impressed with Braff in the movie. I can’t imagine being his age and having something so good to attach my name to. Yeah, I’m feeling shades of inadequacy too.
